Fake it till you make it, or larping, are more popular than ever.

These methods have existed probably as long as humans have cared about what other people think. The idea is simple: pretend to be better than you are. As course selling has become more popular, this has extended even further. The reality is there is no value created by this. Even if you temporarily experience benefits, everyone will eventually know you have not really achieved what you said you did.

If you want great results, respect, the right to carry pride, than earn it.

How to Earn Credibility - 3 Steps

1. Figure out what you want to do. Find something you have a natural affinity for, and study it. Create a plan of how you will progress in that field. Be as specific and actionable as possible.

2. Actually do the work to get better. When I started with ads, I sucked. But then I did 12,000 hours of ad management and got better. Yes, you literally just need to put in the time.

3. Talk about what you learned, and how you learned it. Ask people to leave a review every so often. Over time, people will recognize the results you have gotten.

Instead of pretending to have put in the work, and failing to actually drive results under any level of scrutiny, just do the work, and then talk about it.
